You can start driving lessons when you are 17.
You can apply for your licence before your 17th birthday, but it will not be valid until you are 17.
For your first driving lesson you will need to bring both parts of your photo licence. We would also suggest that you choose comfortable footwear, not flip-flops or high heels.
There is no requirement for you to do so, some pupils find that combinb their theory study with their driving lessons is better, while others feel more prepared by taking the Theory Test first. It really is down to personal preference and what you feel will be best for you.
You can sign up for Theory Test Pro which will help you prepare for your test and you can always ask your instructor any questions.
This is a difficult question as it really depends on your aptitude and how quickly you learn, the quality and regularity of the driving lessons. The official DSA answer is 40-60 hours on average but some people may pass sooner.
We understand that some pupils are more nervous than others, in the same way that some pupils will pick things up quicker than others. Our friendly and experienced instructors will soon put you at your ease, our teaching methods will help to overcome your nerves and we can work at your pace. Yes, we offer both evening and weekend driving lessons, please contact us for availability.
You will use your driving instructors car for your test, most pupils also have a lesson just prior to taking their test.
Yes we can help, our instructors will assess your skills and correct any problems. If nerves were the problem, we will work with you to help you overcome these and prepare you for your test.
